The remote hand knitting and weaving communities of Huancavelica are located in one of the poorest and most remote, yet most beautiful, regions of the Andes Mountains. They represent a rich link to their cultural heritage. Huancavelica is renowned for its textiles and its traditional woven and knit designs . We have a strong, long-standing relationship with many of the communities in this area and do a lot of accesories in this area
Sometimes we bring some of the artisans to Lima to finish complicated shoe or bag designs as shown in the photo here.
